ive seen two storms in the uk this year.
a work consultant engineer has one,
and the one i saw was the thunder and lighting which flooded the outside road, and covered the speedbumps right the way down the road.

Anyone got any numbers on how many the Blackberry Storm sold compared to the iPhone?
o2 quoted 1.7 million for the iphone.
we had 1.2 on storm.
The iPhone has def sold more than that, and Id be amazed if you actually sold 1.2m Storms in the UK.
according to o2 cosmo, sales are over a million. surely if it was higher than the 1.7million i heard they had sold, they would say this?
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090928/ttc-apple-iphone-s-uk-future-is-orange-e1d36ba.html
we have done 1.2 million storms, admittedly probably 50% of them were warranty replacements.
its good now because we now have 2 variants of the iphone, the new blackberrys, new htc's, the new windows phone, satio, x2, and we just agreed that from 2010 we get all htc android and wm devices.
oh, and the new tv service comes soon. and unlimited talk plans.

Surely this doesn't count then?
Either way, you seemed to have changed your tune on the iPhone.

Blackberry Bold ftw!
Mate has an iPhone 3Gs that was on 02 but he's already jailbreaked it to work on Vodafone and he reckons it's even quicker on Vodafone than it ever was on 02...

Bringing it out after xmas is a bit of a mistake, people will go with o2 or orange to get one at xmas instead of waiting.
I doubt the tariffs will be different on any network anyway, possibly even worse on orange.
voda are offering it initially for people who want to upgrade from their existing tariffs. then once upgrade demand has settled, new connections will be allowed.
wether we had it before xmas or after, the criteria of who comes first would remain.
plus, there is a reason as too why its coming after christmas, and not before
