Sounds like shes talking BS from what your saying. So when you bought it she said she had sent off for a new one and now shes just text you saying her mum has 'forgot' to send it? If shes got the new logbook just go round and get it off her so you can post it yourself

V62 is the form that you use to apply for a V5. V62 can be downloaded and posted to them.

Thing is, she'll also be fined for not notifying change of ownership when you submit the V62.

Write a letter to take around to her saying that you have bought the car off her and get her to sign it, to cover your back while SHE sends off for the logbook as she is breaking the law in not doing so.

get a v62 sent off which is you applying for ownership of the vehicle. now the problem there is, the person who is currently registered as the owner, which isnt you, can say no, i havent sold it. i still own it. therefore meaning you'd get fucked over for theft, car repossed etc.

i cant believe what your saying. i think this is like your offday threads and is just made up garbage. there cant be people out there in this world that are a clueless at everything as you "appear" to be.

either drop the act, or go sort yourself out elsewhere.

FFS get a grip lads, the guys messed up as youve all pointed out over and over now all he wants is a bit of advice on what to do next. It must be hard not to be perfect eh.

Yes what he done in buying a car without the V5 or and kind of reciept is extremely stupid but hopefully he learns from this.
