Im sure their is was an amazing one in Liverpool that had those 'death slides' (basically vertical drop slides).

There's one near southend I went too, you can hire it out so its just you and your mates. A great laugh though!

Kids one local to us allows you to rent it out no matter your age for privete parties etc.
Went for my mates 18th. My toe got fractured
Was bloody good fun though
Not quite as big as it seems as when I was there aged 7. Slides are a bit tight

Pleasure Island. It was bonzar, yes.
Its was the site of the 1984 Garden Festival. The dome is gone now, demolished last year but the gardens remain, albeit overgrown. I can walk there from my flat.

What a place that was, loved it, when I was working for an environmental place doing gardens etc the place I worked for applied for the contract to get all the gardens back up to scratch, obviously it would of been an ongoing project for years, but it fell through due to trouble with the old creamfields site with us not being able to complete it on time (just didnt have enough bodies on the job at the time), and never heard anymore of it.
Cosmo FunLand is still there isnt it but they took the play area out, that was also boss.

Ive no idea, thought it closed down long before the fair did. That was in 2006 although has partly reopened.

Oh yeh I know the one you mean, there was the fun house actually IN the fair with that wooden spinning wheel you had to try and stay on. Theres Fun Land aswell which is a massive arcade place and it used to have a big play area right at the back
