these came with the xud engine 1.9 td from 306 ect from factory in spain, was going to fit that still might but fancyed something difffrent and sounded awesum

love these mate.. i just bought a vitara the day before yesterday for some fun off roading and its awesome, was off roading all day yesterday.. going to be ordering a 2" lift kit now when i get payed on thursday

my mate sold his vitara the day before yesterday lol wernt the same one was it?

yeh diesels are good may be putting one in but wna be diffrent and fit my v8

Nice one. Im looking at getting a Land Rover atm, so need to no of some places to go

My GF's grandad has just bought a 6.5 V8 GMC engined Land Rover. Wack it in 5th and it just pulls away

im not in to the heavy cars with big heavy engines, mines only a 1.3, i have a suzuki sj everyday car too is standard apart from a webber carb took it offroad, went everywhere a mate randge rover went and its on road tyres

Just invested in one of these today, not sure which lift kit to go for though?

yours looks like a fair lift, looking good though

306 nugget info anywhere?

sweet u got any pics mate? mine wasnt liffted at all when i got it, ive put the springs over the axles on the rear, but cant get one of the wheels of the front locking wheel nut key is fooked,
plus havnt really got any time to do anything to it atm, been using my on road sj for offroad.

no pics as yet no, will get some up this week, i was going ask how the springs over axle bit works?

just ordered 2" shackle lift as i was unsure how the springs over axle worked. are they the weld on bits?

seen a few with 306 engines in them

you simply put the leaf springs ontop of the axles, just raises the body about 6 inches to give hieght in mud and to fit big tyres to get the diffs off the floor,
shakle lift aint too good with out spring over axle as the shackels dig into the mud.

your sposed to weld on spring perches to hold the leafs in correct postion but it doesnt really matter ill try get a pic of mine up.

yeh the 1.9td xud engine people put in, thats the engine im fitting to mine

where did you order your shocks and axle over kit?
also how much as i would like some shocks for my road legal one and a proper kit for the offroad one cheers
