Sure i got it when i was around 12 or 14, possibly earlier, and im 28 now, so its getting on a bit!

Had a class pugeot mountain bike that got nicked, was so light compared to the activator which replaced it.

I have an old custom built jobby picked all the parts myself from just before disk brakes came out, need to get it updated a bit, but the frame weighs he haw

Really not the best pic ever.

Got it cheepy cheep from work, last years test bike but was hardly used



Working in a bike shop i also get the choice of bikes to ride, so i can use: -
2010 Stumpjumper
2010 Enduro
2010 Tarmac
2009 Enduro
2009 + 2010 Trek remedy 8

And pretty much any marin full suss i like

Could get 210mm rotors on the back too Probably should have gone with a two pot caliper though as this setup was a bit overkill thinking back on it.



Didn't overheat though like the 165mm brakes I had on it before though

What can I add to my bike to make it better?

Obviously disk brakes are first on the list

I got 205mm 6 pots too but I need to put a smaller disc on the rear its too powerful.

The big disks are good for preventing overheating in the Alps. Maybe it's the caliper that's at fault

Cant go wrong with a set of hayes hfx hydro disks


Can a set for a couple of years now and havnt had any issues what so ever

Yeah exactly, that one was close to 3k new, and i got it for £500 Such good bikes, i love mine because im rather out of shape at the moment, and it climbs just like a hardtail, Its bad enough carrying myself up a hill but a big bike is just killer.
