It would have been a little bit more exciting had Button not clinched the title, but the track is new and I personally think Alonso will win it.

I think it'll be a good weekend although from watching practice this morning the track layout just looks a little boring, a few straights and a load of 1st/2nd (slow) corners plus that dodgy pit lan exit (any bets on Grosjean stacking it there?) - i'm really not convinced.

As for podium, mercedes or red bull, i really can't see brawn getting up there this weekend.

P2 just started.

Will be interesting to see how this goes, as at present Hamilton and the brawns 1, 2 and 4 respectively after doing very few laps in comparison to the others.

Pretty boring race tbh Apart from Hamilton's brakes FAILing....nothing else has really happened....its like its just cars going round a track

I get the feeling that this track has been too engineered...so much to that its perfect. Perfect is a bad thing, because the drivers are able to set into a routine. Things needs to be mixed up.

And have you noticed that the commentators have said "it’s a great setting" (as in the hotel and marina) about 1,000,000 times...but they haven’t heaped praise on the actual track?

F1 racing in Belgium’s Ardennes forest for me any day
