That will be down to the driver then Pickford

My mate's B18 CRX has a best time of 14 dead at Crail, which won't be much infront of a standard XE Corsa. And it'll cost a hell of a lot more to make the CRX!

Thanks for the civilised responce back. Probably yes. It was my first time down the strip.

I paid someone to do mine. As I work stupidly long hours and need my car, and would set it on fire changing the battery.

Yep mine ran oversized pistons and piper 256's and only managed a 14.9 in Jay carrs hands and in standard form ran a 15 dead with 4 different drivers and 35 runs.

Saying someone is a shit driver over .3 of a second is a tad harsh.

ok, how does this sound...

You are not the best driver...

pish...

anyway... see my orig comments. Just use a std c20xe and get some tracktime with the car.... you WILL NOT be able to use a 200bhp c20xe to its full potential on track for a while if you are just starting out

we have done a few c20xe's now with the ATPower throttle bodies, really nice bits of kit, and lots more room than the DTH jenvey setups. also make more mid range power.

got some pics somewhere...

I thought most xe's were generally around the high 14's low 15's. With the exception of a few. I did a 15.035 in my stripped out poverty spec blue one and a 14.9 in my full fat red one, that if stripped out would have done a 14.7 I reckon. Depends on the condition of the engine and tyres used and suspension IMO.
