I own a Steel Coating/FireProtection company, we work closely with large steel distributors across the globe such as...

Gerdau
Arcilor Mittal
JFE
Gruppo Riva
CSN
Forgemasters Sheffield
Libyan Iron
SalzGitter
Ternium
Stelco
POSCO
Kobe Steel
Sahaviriya Steel Industries

Basically these firms hire me and my firm (and several other firms to which I help) to go over to their steel plants and coat their steel with intumescent paint films, such as M70/71 and other well known two pack films.
I'm not a car modifier as such, I just use the boards because I like the banter and people on this site.

I first got into my occupation by leaving school and going straight into spraying for 2 years to which I set my own firm up, from having a good knowledge of it as a young child as my Dad was a manager for 4 of the firms listed above, it meant that my life as a kid was spent travelling the world and living in various countries (Brazil, Spain, Japan, USA, Scotland, England)

Got made redundant from my computer engineering job for Renault back in June. Done 3 years in college... computer studies, networking and ICT support.

Wanted to continue in that field really. Decided to take a break and enjoy the summer for a couple of months! Before getting of my arse an start applying for jobs, applied for about 20 IT jobs, only got 1 interview which I didn't get. Then randomly applied for a job at the local hospital, and got it

So I'm soon to be a medical engineering technician!
