They've just ripped mine straight off leaving all the fixing screws intact. This is what I don't get, if it was stolen to sell then why rag it off leaving it with mostly broken brackets, they even broke the piece on the bumper where the brake air ducts attach and where it clips to the arch. Can't be worth much in that state?

they broke that on mine too. noticed at the weekend when i tried putting the inner arch back inside the bumper as it was all hanging out and a big bit of plastic which looks like it feeds the air to the brakes broke off
i'd keep looking on ebay to see if there are any on there

WTF why damage it then?. Not only are they pikey little twats they are also thick as well. Who'd want to buy a bumper with broken mounting brackets?. It's got to be a PITA to sort with plastic welding, if it's possible at all?

some bumpers are easily nicked, at my old bodyshop where we were bmw approved used to get alot of 3 series m sports in with no bumper as there so easy and i think its some 5 series that are also so easy.
For the cost of the replacement its scarey. have alook on ebay as there are replica`s about and just get that on and it wont be to bad.

grills arent a perfect fit but they do with a bit of fetling and a hell of alot cheaper.

Not good!
Heard of a fair few dissapearing around the Luton area!
Ive got a new GSI front to put on my astra, deffo going to add a few straps and extra bits to it to hold it on abit better!
As for getting another one, i got a brand new genuine vaux gsi bumper, in primer from a vauxhall in Scotland, posted to me, for £75! It was stock they wanted rid of at stupidly low prices! Got the joining panel underneath for £8 instead of £37!

Reminds me of when someone knicked my Irmscher badge. But took half the grill with it due to the industrial German spec glue provided with the badge.
