True, my mam has been in the police force for 6/7 years, she spent 3 in the Met, and now works up here, she even admits herself alot of the people she has worked with, if they weren't in the job they would be locked up.
Obviously this doesn't apply to everyone, I know a few cops, good guys tbh.
Edit: Fine example of cunt cops, the cop who hit me when I had my hands out waiting for him to put the cuffs on, fucking wanker thought I was too drunk to remember, I shouldn't have been fighting yes, but he shouldn't have hit me (with his asp), he had no right as I was being obedient, I kept getting told I couldn't have the cctv footage to prove I was in the right either as "It had other people in the footage" I later found out this was bollocks by a guy in the same force.

Lostboy, there is no point in footage as if you are on there you would block out any light so you would just see a black screen.
I am all for the Police being violent to black people, it is a given right of the job IMO...

I love my job, never a boring shift! You get treat like shit, mentally and physically abused, and deal with some pretty fucked up stuff. But I look forward to coming in, the good outweighs the bad and fuck it if some sad individuals seem to have a problem with me because of what I do, at the end of the day when I'm having to scrape dead bodies up off roads, or tell a woman and her 2 young sons that they're husband/dad won't be home that night, I know I'm doing a pretty fucking difficult job! Although, no, people on a corsa forum disagree that I must be out targetting innocent people.

met some rather nasty cops in the past, few cops round my way used to pick up drunks and beat them up in the cells come into work next day with there faces caved in and one was hospitalised because of it..
always thought cops were total wankers, but got pulled a few weeks back, (forgot to turn my lights on daft moment there) cop got out of his car we had a chat and he was a alright bloke, so started cracking a few jokes, then the other guy in the car was your tipical local crap cop, yelling and shouting that he wanted my licence and he'd make sure i wasn't on the road for long ect.. i said to the other cop, is he always a moany old git like that, decent cop said yep and i got to work with the bastard he never stops being in a crappy mood..
shook hands and went on my way, now thinking on things i might try become a cop or into the fire service should be fun..

theres plenty of decent cops out there. ive had the experience of dealing with some tidy ones
however, there are also some total cunts who think they are completely above the law that they are upholding and on a constant power trip
its these that give the rest of youa bad name

Although my opinion of Police isn't as harsh as some peoples (John for example), I have only ever met one nice policeman and I know him personally before he pulled my mate over
NOT tarring everyone with the same brush but I've been pushed about, sneered and belittled by police who don't believe a "child" my age can have an IAM badge or drive a nice car. Are you tell me that if you had a couple of rude shop assistants in a shop that didn't treat you with any respects you'd caryr on shopping at that shop with the view of "ahh well, maybe there will be a nice assistant in there"?
