i also seen this escort that rick is tlkin about, very extreme car, the most ultimate sleeper. looked like something an 80 yr old bloke would drive about but my god was it quick!!

Good driver, who knows his car well with lots of low down power, 380lb/ft at just over 2k rpm does come in handy
Nic- whats the doubt for? It has a hybrid turbo from the 150hp version of the 1.9tdi and is mapped to suit it, so it shouldn't effect the MPG at all

also the other thing is its not setup for straight lines only either, it handles very well and still does 55mpg+

the higher the speed the longer it takes. its just the way it is. astra vxr gets to what 60 in 6 ish. takes another 9 to get to 100mph.
