Not worth buying they write offs when you can get a good condition one so cheap.

Renault parts are stupidly expensive.

Surely they are underpowered and bland and still drink alot. looking for a hot hatch tbh. cheers for the suggestions though

Not underpowered as what people make out, but im not saying that they are a rocket ship (140bhp). And yes not good on fuel, probs see 25 mpg tops??

Surely not, I get that im my M3 which has an extra 200+bhp

Unfortunatley (for me) yes. Is been on a semi motorway run once. It was not far off emtpy, put £57 quid in it, and it did 120 round trip motorway miles (with alot of stop start traffic on way up, and 70 mph hall the way back) and the rest usuall driving, to work, around town, a tiny bit of throttle to build up speed etc and it did like 340 miles to a tank.

Ive just had a ruff work out. I put £30 quid a time in and do about 180 miles so works out about 28 mpg

Those Clios are a bit steep, my mate sold his 04 plate Cat D 182 back in June, 24k, FSH, brand new Gaz coilovers, that rare orange colour, janspeed exhaust, air filter, was Cup model too, sold that for £3,500.

My mates just bought a 2002 Clio Cup 172 for £2300, HPi clear. If it was cheap enough I would fix up a Cat D but they're not very cheap
