dads a retained firefighter and electrical engineer, mum is a supervisor at sainsburys.

Im a risk analyst soon to be an account manager in the motor trade. So no, although I did apply to be a firefighter on numerous occasions.

not my parents but both my grandads were railwayman and now I am, whereas my father was an engineer for british telecom.

I didn't follow to start with, I was an apprentice mechanic but got bored of that and went doing delivery driving for my dad, then he binned that off and we've set up a vending business between my mum, dad, brother and me so not so much following, just all taking the same change of direction

Mum - Chef/Worked in retail

Me - Motortrade/Project Management
Bro - Retail/Chelsea FC
Sis - at school

never would have worked in the motor trade if it wasnt spending every min when younger in the garage thpugh

dads got a business as an electrical engineer designer for oil rigs and all things to do with that.

Dad is in partioning and suspended ceilings for offices etc
Mum teaches people to ride horses and runs her own stables.

Im training to be a plumber so sort of following my dad in the construction trade but not the same route really.

My dad spent his working life as a builder/jack of all trades. My mum has done various office based roles. I think I was intentionally kept away from the "building game" probably because my dad's back is fucked and he has no pension.

I wasn't going to follow in my dads footsteps as a freight forwarder but it I ended up doing it and found I quite liked it. Now in business together.

My mum works for Marks and Spencer's.

My Dad is an accountant
My mum works as an attendance and liason officer in a school
My sister worked for EasyJet but is at home with the kids at present
Me mechancial engineer for the Home Office
My brother is in the Police
Youngest brother is at Tesco
Youngest sister is at school

I suppose the only links there are between me and my brother! I make the stuff that he then uses on the front line!

My dad was a mortgage underwriter and now works part time as a handyman in a hospice and invigilator (sp?)
My mum was a nurse but now works in a charity shop and has gone back to uni to study complimentary therapy

My Dad started his career on the railway as a Technical officer, worked loads of different roles and is now a project mnager.

Brother started as a Technical Officer on the railway at the same company as my dad and is now a Principle technical officer

Sister started on the railway office based at the same company and dad and brother

I started as a Technical officer at the same company as my dad, brother and siter.

Brother in law is a site manager at the same company as my dad, brother, sister and me.

So yes.
