It doesn't stretch well, although you could solve it by making the background fixed. Personally i would swap it out for a simple gradient or just use a solid blueish colour etc

Need some advice....

When i google, www.protectyourpiece.co.uk, it comes up with my site now ( i added it last week) but when it comes up, the first line bit which is usually blue, is just a -, the writting is all old underneath it. How can i get it looking better when google finds it :/

First thing that comes up for me is the Contact Us page.

TBH eventually Google should pick up from the first page and show it on the results with that at the top and the rest below.

Yea, i think its not been crawled much yet. Its all cached stuff, which i think the reason why the homepage just shows as - is because i didnt give it a name to begin. I think its probably a good idea to make the title something more related to what i sell.

yeah, def, as it'll help with the rankings.

The search bots will soon go back round it and resort it for you - when I make updates to our pages I can sometimes see the changes within a few hours on there.

Become a troll and post it on forums.

Figure out who your target market is, join forums those sorts of members use (like this), become a decent member of there (so you are trusted a bit) then start posting your website and putting it in your sig. Thats the easiest way to gt your link out there and is free advertising for you.

The stupid thing is the school could park about 500 cars at £8 a time, so thats £4000 a match, so at approx 25 matches a season is £100k.

The council who have now taken over the old school building to use them to store old paperwork, book, etc. havent reopened it to make that sort of money - what a joke that is!

BTW, just to let everyone know, I have now suggested about 5 people use Jonny to do some design work for him. As he pretty does all our design work for our marketing (full page national mag ads), printed items within the shops, etc.

Ive agreed a deal with him where you have to approach me with any work you have for him, and I pay him just a 10th of what we agree.
