my PB 1s 27lb so i only really go to places where i have a chance of beating it. i got that PB at Cottington Lakes in Kent but they have since changed their rules and they don't allow alcohol anymore. they fuck off if they think i'm camping out fro 2 nights without a beer.

i had a belting week at Cottington. loved it there. we were mainly using matrix boilies and they were lethal. i actually considered pulling my rods in one night so as to get a decent nights sleep.

i will also travel pretty much anywhere. although Kent is a 5 hour drive for me so i'd prefer it to be a little closer.

theres loads around here with 30's and 40's , we have alot of RMC lakes and gravel pits. I am willing to travel a couple of hours though if neccesary, would need lots of prior warning so i could book time off work etc.

bit of a nightmare to find venues online. i think if we all make suggestions of places we've been to and would go back to then we could all say if we are willing to travel that far. maybe provide post codes so it is easy to route find.

i was trying to find a lake what suits c2rl r nust have a 30lb'er in lol, theres not that many around there
what about here. any1 who watches the great rpad race know that they had a 44lb'er out, the only down side is £60 for 36 hours, but theres some major fish in here, look at the oher ponds he has aswell there all around the same area.

also, it doesn't have to have 30's in but i'm a carper and always will be. we go after a pb every time we go. if it has decent 20's then i'm willing to go. i bet none of you guys would be willing to go to blackpool would you?

i would be quite happy to pay £60 to fish 36 hours at the monument, i seen it on discovery and some of the fish they were pulling out were cracking, 40 pound + they had out

it looks quite good there actually. i only had a quick look but didn't see anything about rod limits. is three rods allowed. if i'm paying £60 for 36 hours i'd like to fish 3 rods.
