1.8 16v is faster, but compared to 90% of oither 1800 16v's, its got to be one of the worst out there.

Finding a good condidtion GSi, hard, agreed, not many about at all.

Richy, GSi's did have sunroofs as optional extras. Aircon, nahhh, rather just open the window and sunroof. The GSi looks much much better than the boring looking sport.

It's slow for a 1.8 16v, but that doesn't make it a worse proposition than the 1.6 GSi.

125bhp from a 1.8 is pretty lame, but 106/109bhp from a 1.6 is hardly scary shit.

Nope, but you can feel every 100+bhp from a GSi. New cars power delivery is far too smooth and boring. I like rough raw power.
