I've bin and test driven a few recently, never bin allowed in on my own (then again was just me there so had no passenger apart from the volvo).
Audi - she drove it off the forecort then we swapped and sat in for the road trip, she didnt mind me putting my foot down between speed cameras she did actually comment on my putting my foot down and slowing down for them though lol
VW - again he drove it for a few minutes down the road then we swapped too busy to really put my foot down.
Mini - drove it straight away again person in the car with me (didnt quite mind me flooring it once although i did ask her )
vovlo - drove straight away, me and laura with the sales person in the back again he didnt mind me doing 70/80 although i doubt he could see as he was behind me.
how ever when i got my ibiza was allowed in on my own and drove it straight off the garage
