How fuel hungry is it? i currently get 35mpg from my punto

Yeah thats the one Kurt. I drove a 2006 300bhp one (which was in blue, very nice colour!) and couldnt really tell the difference tbh. Especially not enough to warrant double the amount of tax!

Done about 300 miles this weekend and used about £40-50 which isn't too far off the golf. that was a mix of mways and the odd blast. Avg mpg was 26 when i looked at it last. Golf was getting around 29.

did you say you got 4,500 for your golf? surely wth it being an anniversary model (assuming it wasn't a rep) its worth double that mate?

that's pretty good tbh. I just did 330 miles in my 12v and it cost me £35 to fill up to the click

6 speed 1.4 would be alright on my motorway commute. My commute is 16 miles one way. 2 of that is through town, the rest on the motorway.
