Forest Whitaker in The Shield was so convincing as a nasty fucker. Probably the best acting I've seen from him.

He didn't really redeem himself though. As his comrad is dead, and it's his fault. Well, TWO comrads are dead by his hands. I hope the actor dies a horrible horrible death. Jimothy, it isn't a Spoiler my dear boy But you MUST watch it, even if I have to order you the dvd. As it is an epic film. Tom Hanks finest hour imo.
