I would get some 300lbs for your FKs and see how that feels.

Shame you can't upgrade back ones.

I paid £310 Brand spanking new!!!

Then bought 300lb springs 2nd hand seperatly for £50.

You can get the springs from Bilstein, or contact Courtenay sport who usually have the fronts in stock.

Still can't find B10's below £450ish other than the one set on eBay!

Try V-tuning and Dave., tell him Daimo with the purple corsa sent you. If he can still get them im sure he can sort out a nice deal for you.

On mine I had fk for a bit. I thought they were crap, even for the price. Too hard and crashy for the mojority of roads over here. Swapped to some fixed konis with (i think) courtenay sport springs that were aparently specific for XE corsas but they were even worse and left the car at standard ride height. So I went for a Koni coilover kit and adjustable mounts which was quite dear but it almost made it handle well

Bilstein b12 kit (springs and dampers) every day for me over any sub £800 coilover kit.

i can supply bilstein at very very reasonable prices

i had spax rsx on turbo for last couple of years. were not bad. now on gaz and they are much better.

Fixed height suspension on a Corsa everytime for me.
IMO small light cars with coilovers is a no no.

Oh, had adj Koni's on mine with 40mm springs and even on the stiffest setting they were far to crashy.Setting it just a tad softer made it even worse and on the softest setting,it felt dangerously bouncy.

Ive been in a few and the ride is terrible compared to bigger cars with coilovers.

May have just been the make but i much prefer springs that are matched to the shocks.Surely coilover springs cant be designed to give a good ride at any height unlike a fixed rate set-up?

dont see why they cant?

people assume with coil overs can just lower it millions of amount. but they dont under stand pre loud on spring etc which causes the bad ride. if you have coilovers set properly, whats going to make that an awful ride? or any different to fixed rate?

thing with coilovers is that people dont technically get is although the shocker is thread quite a lot, doesnt mean the springs that you get with the kit are actually suitable to be used to lower it as a daft example 150mm. this is where the problem with ride quality comes from. as you are lowering a car on coilovers that say are designed to opperate between 30 and 60mm down beyond 100mil.

the spring is too long, and you are putting too much load on it causing bouncy and poor ride. you can buy shorter springs which will be a lot better to say do that.

coilovers with springs matched for what you are wanting are great.

thats why alot of people buy £299 coilover kits, they just want to go low!

the real point is to set the ride height properly so you can get the weight balance exactly right, they are also a stiffer unit (well decent ones are) and not as in stiff ride, so they have less flex, my bilstein pss9 kit on the corsa is a more comfortable ride than any other suspension kit iv ever had and the handling is spot on with it compared to the others i have tried.

a well set up decent coil over unit is well worth the money, other than that the bilstein b12 or b10 is my second and third choice.

wrong spring rates
go harder and set the rebound softer much better ride.
