To be fair, most of those people are saying is a joke, isn't that much different to what a dealer would offer in a part-ex from the sound of it.
Yes, a lot less than private, but hardly 'jokers'

as barnshaw said, yes i work for webuyanycar.com
what people seem to fail to realise is that we are a business, not a charity. the price we offer is a fair price based on the current condition of your car. as for people saying what they paid for it etc, thats all good and well but you are a private individual buying the car to use, we are a business buying a car with a view to selling it on,TO TRADE for a small profit so using the st above as an example... you paid 14, we offered 12. if it is in the exact condition you described, we would pay 12, maybe sell it to a dealer for 12.5 for a quick sale. job done.
again we are a business, we are not unfair with our prices. if we buy a car for retail value who do we then sell the car to to make profit???

i was just using your car as an example chap, mostly for the people on here that have no idea about how the real world works as they probably have no commitments and still live at home with their mummy and daddys

Before you make a comment make sure you know the facts, and preferably type in english.
Not had a problem, helped my brother sell his Clio to them, gave him £500 more than the dealer was offering even with damage.
They have also offered more than the garage have for my car, and even more than I reckon I could sell it privately for, so its swings and roundabouts I think.

Was about to get rid of a car through them once but heard there a bit over critical so offloaded it to a dealer for the same price.

I was going to post up a perfectly valid response to your reply above, but after that childish and irrelevant comment I don't think I'll bother.

i really could not care wether you post a valid response or not as i am only giving my opinion.yes i agree, a lot of people do live at home for whatever reasons and may have a very good understanding of how things work in "the real world" however, day in and day out i get teenagers bringing in their ragged to bollocks saxos etc thinking that they are worth so much more than they actually are because it might have some kurbed alloys and a jvc headunit.these are the people i was referring to as having no grasp on reality due to having everything done for them.

it makes me laugh, just because you pay a price for a car does not mean that is what the car is worth. look at what a ford sierra cosworth 4x4 books at, i bet you will all be shocked, yet because it has a cosworth badge its worth so much more....not to the motor trade, its still a old ford sierra
