And I can't work out why I can put a background banner in my website, but I can't apply a background to the rest of the bloody page (using Div tags).

Yeah so I can just apply the div to each page i want the background on. I've applied it just below the body level.

Easy web page management then. that way if I wanted to change the background, i'd just adjust the .css code individually, and not have to change it on every page?


Thats what my book says anyway
