I have heard that a german company is running an elise with an audi A4 sourced engine in it tuned to over 400bhp, a 2.7 V6 twin turbo, sounds like fun!

Nice ar, would be great with a turbo, but its still £24k for a car with nothing inside, and a car u have to pay over £100 for a peice of metal inside.
I could think of much better ways to spend £24k. £2k more and u can have the new Evo. Much bigger, just as fast.
Not a good example i know, but theres much better out there to buy.

i ment the elise...really really like then (well would prefer an exige), but i reckon the vx220 prices will drop rapidly once the turbos come in.

I think the lack of interior is why it's so light! They could have put shag pile carpet, a huge ICE install in it etc. but I don't think it'd really suit it!
The VX isn't cheap, but neither is an Elise. For a fun weekend car I'd have the VX over an Evo any day.

VX everytime for me! Evo's are common. Plus the VX will seem much faster as it's so small and light. I sat in one the other day, i almost couldnt get out. Not because it was nice, becuase they r so fcuking low and cramped!! Wouldnt put me off though
