I don't care what people think, my car's shit but I love it.

Also, it doesn't matter what car you have, there's always gonna be someone out there with a better, faster, more expensive car than you. so get on with it and stop worrying about your street cred init bruv.

I'm sure people wonder why a 30 year old bloke is driving a boy racer car but I laugh inwardly knowing its just one of the fleet and I love the noise.

I sometimes wonder why im still driving a corsa at 21 but to be honest i remember why every time i drive it, everytime i look around pistonheads i never see anythin else i like the look of, always find myself back in the vauxhall section looking at corsa's/nova's.

I get slated on a regular basis about my Corsa. Even I regularly call it the shed, it is, paintwork's in a fairly dire state, it's been getting washed no-more than twice a year for the past couple of years but I love it.

I like how it looks, apart from the paintwork, it puts a smile on my face every time I come across a nice back road. My only complaints about it are performance, which I intend to sort out when I can and the paintwork which isn't really a bother for me. I may sort it in future or not, it's gonna be a track car in time so paintwork really isn't a worry.

It's always funny seeing peoples' faces when they see that the interior consists of 2 seats, harnesses, a dash,a steering wheel and a lot of bare metal

Interesting feedback. Ill have to get some pics up on the net somewhere else since im not premium. Sounds like things are no different here to there. I get verbally abused by nearly everyone, ive had the body greased up, chips and burgers smeared on the windows, my arch was broken when people decided to be smart and rotate my car from where id parked it, my tyres have been stabbed, people constantly overtake and then go real slow so i overtake and then they can prove how much better their car is by doing the same again. Trips are so long when that happens. Hmm... if only i could drag off other cars, that would come as a shock to people and maybe they would think different. I totally agree with the show thing. I turn up at shows and do get some positive feedback. On the other hand, i get a hard time from all the usuals. At the end of the day, it is all i could afford at the time and i needed a car to get to work in. Now i just dont want to get rid of it. Im sure id encounter the same thing if i got a car like all the others anyway
