Great ending to the Rangers game I thought they were going to fuck up my accumulator
Man U didn't outplay Loserpool, they were just awful. United were the better of the 2 teams but it wasn't one of their best displays. Agreed its a big result .

Never is a memorable game, when you get two good teams together its hpyed up and its virtually an uneventful match bar the final score. Same with big finals.

Poor game for webb yesterday imo, flethcer got nothing for that kick on lucas, stinkin nevilles flying kick and following stamp etc oh and I find it funny how most people (pundits on sky sports etc) accept that the contact from masch was outside the box but it still counts as a pentalty, funny that
Torres chance near the end was dissapointing but shit happens, the game was pretty equal imo only a few real chances at either end. We're not gonna finish fourth now....

Rafa will defo be going at the end of the season, and i honestly can't see them getting 4th place...maybe even 5th!
Gerrard was crap, didn't get involved in the game really. He only likes playing when the team are winning so it seams.
Was quite funny when Andy Gray mentioned about Torres missing that chance near the end because the ball "bobbled" on the peno spot which he kicked in the first half

Gerrard clearly has had enough, thing is if you were trying week in week out and the rest of the team were shit you would get to a stage where you would have enough.

Gerrard's season started just as slowly as everyone elses, just because he's been our best player for a long time doesn't absolve him of blame for some of the teams performances which led us into the turmoil we were in even before xmas. I think he's probably tired of the defensive set-up which is fine, but he's let his head drop and gone missing countless times this season for him to be able to lay the blame on 'the team playing shit'.

Went out right after the game, hence why I havent been on yet to comment.
We started well, but too many unfit players (Johnson is clearly unfit, and I still think Gerrard is playing with an injury) meant we had no chance of keeping that tempo for the whole game though.
Johnson was shocking. Gerrard was worse. Kuyt was worse again (and has been for a while now). Insua didnt have a bad game, but what the fuck he was doing when he headed the ball back inside for the penalty when it could of gone out of play I do not know.
Webb was a fucking joke, its no excuse as I think we would of lost still, but some of his decisions were amazing. Apparently being fouled outside the box is still a pen as long as you dive into it by the time you go down. Its also apparently fine to do a flying kungfu kick at head height. And Rooney couldnt believe his luck when he dived, jumped up to apologise to the ref only to find he had actually been given the freekick
4th place will be hard now, need too many teams to drop points and for us to not drop many/any at all. Only plus (and I am clutching at straws) of not finishing 4th is that it lowers the price of the club and will 100% force the Yanks out. I just hope we have a decent buyer in the wings to come in and get us back on track (and I feel that will be with Mourinho as manager).
