Never driven an S3 but test drove a astra and owned a ctr for a year.

Astra doesnt do anything for me. Not that fast or exciting. But are a really good looking car and you dont see many about

Heard they can be greatly improved with a few choice mods though

S3 looks lovely and will be a really nice place to sit and drive and be the quickest im sure. Will hold money well too I think. My main worry would be running and servicing costs on one. As I think it would be a fair bit more then the other two.

Civic is a good all rounder. Loved the time I had in mine and other then some new brake discs it never needed anything and I gave it death on numerous track days etc

Nice and spacious good driving position, nice handling and reaonably fast

My money would be on an S3 if you want a nice fast car and dont drive the arse out of your cars all the time and do track days etc

Or if you enjoy a spirited drive and dont mind working the car hard to have fun get a civic. Although I would pay less for one and get a good condition older one

S3 does nothing for me at all, Astras are nice but just would like an EP3

Mates got an Astra, can't even compare it to the S3 tbh.

S3 for me.
