You never stated the P-47 Thunderbolt in your reference to the A-10 Thunderbolt though did you?
Have you learnt nothing from me?

Still only enough firing in that drum for about 18 seconds firing. It holds 1350 rounds and the gun fires 3900 rounds per minute.
Firing for 18 seconds straight, would probably melt the gun barrel.
Better off with its 11 mounting points for cluser bombs and air to ground missiles imo.

Depleted uranium rounds as well.
Would be lethal if they put your skidmarks on the top of the rounds for extra penetration.

This, but it never made the war in time. But was built during the war.
A design still being used today!!! Obviously this is just a model of the original.

I don't think there is a single aircraft from that area that I don't like.
Some of the Russian fighter bombers were ugly, but they were awesome aircrafts at what they done. The Sturmovik was stupidly heavily armoured and could take an absolute hammering.

so 3 planes? look at how many planes we developed since the ww2 period until the end of the cold war
i can bet you now we would have developed so much more if we had been fighting a war in europe
