i do it quite a bit and consider myself cool to be able to do it on steep hills for substained times.

does it really bugger the clutch that much?

In the long run, if you have to regularly do a lot of hill-starts and stuff with the clutch, it will wear the clutch quicker. But overall, hill starts are not bad for the car whatsoever, it just wears away the clutch a little bit faster

When? As far as im aware i never mentioned anyones name. plus you werent the only one anyway.

You really need to look at what ive been saying since my very first post. You seem to think im commenting on 'specific' peoples spelling/grammer when clearly i havent.

I use my clutch, or my brakes, both are under warranty so don't really care.

Im really not sure what your point is, if someone has mis-spelled and then someone else has tryed to take the piss and mis-spelled then I hate that too......
