"Feb 2001 with full car license you can ride a 50cc without a CBT"

I didn't know that, I knew I could ride without a CBT but thats because I passed my test in 2000, I thought it was the same for everyone didn't know there was a cut off date.

I still have to do a CBT as I ride a 125cc, it's the most pointless waste of time EVER.

Mine was £110 and that was with my own bike, it's something like £130 to hire one for the day along with the CBT.

My Grandad was a front line dispatch rider in WWII fighting in Burma with the Chindits, delivering supplies and ammunition etc to the front line; he was given to options, ride the bike or be on the front line - he chose the bike!

Potteries and District Motorcycle club; £55 (if you pass on the first day otherwise its £10 a day thereafter just to cover the bike hire).

If you join the club for £40 one off payment (no annual subs etc) they give free lessons if you're on your own bike or lend you one for £5 an hour!

49cc isn't a motorbike it's moped and as you passed your test before 2001 you can jump on a moped without a CBT.

You can't ride a ped without doing a CBT, it's pre Feb 2001 that you don't require a CBT.

Because you are ENTITLED TO RIDE A MOPED BUT WITH THE ADDITION OF A CBT due to the pass date of your driving test.

I lost my licence a while back, on my original card licence:

B,BE,C1,C1E,D1,D1E,f,k,l,n,p then 115,71

On replacement card licence:

B,BE,C1,C1E,D1,D1E,f,k,l,n,p then just 115

So that means I need to do a CBT on a 125 then?

If so given we have to renew our cards very ten years they've revoked my given right to ride a 125cc on L plates.

I have the f,k,p but didnt pass until 2004, I had to take a CBT to ride my Aprilia RS125, that cost me £70.

Sort of off topic but not too much, how does it work when pulling a trailer? Can anyone tow a trailer?
