Willays on a "givenoshit" week.
The last month of employment is basically a doss as you don't care anymore. Last week, well might as well not turn up ha ha.
I've still not woken up.

I found out I had a confession posted in a bike mag.
Im due £10 or a free back protector.
Problem is
a) I never knew the forum post might make the mag. Lucky I can laugh at myself
b) I messaged the admins last thursday and the badgers haven't replied about my prize.
Mofo.

What I posted on the forum. The "print" in the mag was close but had some bits removed.
I'd had a rediculas disciplinary at work one day, it left me extremly angry and upset emotionally so I went home for the day. The sun was out, it was warm, I hadn't had my new bike very long, so decided a little ride was in order to calm me down and put a smile on my face again. On the way I thought i'd pop into Brands Hatch before lunch.
There was a trackday, expensive cars, Porkies, Rarris, Koinseggs etc. I turned up, set my alarm and went for a walk around. An hour later it was time to move on, so off I trotted back to my bike. Key in ignition, alarm off, nothing......
I spent the next half hour trying to work out what it could be, I had no ignition lights at all. So I enlisted some of the race teams to help me check the battery charge. Battery was fine. Checked all connections, checked the alarm, wiring loom, the lot. Nothing.
Rang up up alarm manufactures, had more race teams check out the bike, no-one could work it out. Change alarm fob battery (alarm was arming and disarming, but no lights). Eventually gave in and called the AA stating I needed a truck to take me home.
1.5 hours later, some douch in a wippet sized van turned up? Wheres my recovery?? "Well we don't send one straight out" he says. "But hold on a minute, the dappy mare on the phone said you would,i've been here long enough". It seems that is not the policy. So this guy, who really doesn't inspire any confidence at all, prods and pokes around my pride and joy like a chav in a McDonalds, doing everything we'd already done, 3 times. Suprise suprise, nothing still.....
So, another hour n a half later (this is now about 5 hours total), anther truck turns up. Its a low loader, something designed to take vans home. The blokes brilliant, takes great care with the bike. I offer to move it to the truck, he agree's and goes to sort out the flatbed. I go to push bike, urrggghhhh I stop dead....
Thats right, it was in gear, this whole time where my mind was not right, i'd totally forgot i'd stuck it in gear as it was on a slight slope. Take it out of gear, ignition on, all the lights pop up as they should do. Bugger.
To save face, I pushed it to the truck, got a free lift home. I get off the other side, push bike into the garage and the AA bloke drives off. Ignition on, fires up first time. Free ride home in the worlds largest recovery truck for 1 motorcycle.
Arse.........
Still, glad it was so simple, and whilst I never got my full ride, could have been stuck in worse places. Can only laugh at my stupiditty now.
Another reason to ensure your in the right frame of mind before jumping on your bike.
Rodney, you plonker....

Damn funny looking back, but at the time I was ready to have an emotional meltdown. Very bad day, then one of the two things that make me happy, well one of them broke down.
I was gutted, but at the end of the day, very relieved
