How did ya manage to attatch the 2 halves of the scuttle together at first? just fiber glass or did u re-inforce under neath with extra plastic or summat?
Also, wot do u use to sand? that pic with all the FG filler looks like a night mare to sand down!!! use an electric sander?

2 halves fibreglasses together, with fibreglass underneath aswell
used an orbital sander to flatten the bulk of the fibreglass down, with 100 grit, then down to 180 grit - then 400 wet n dry by hand

nice ,ive started mine ,ive cut the gaps out and have fibreglassed it together (on the car ,and let it set on the car).ive started sanding down with electric to get rid of bulk of fibre glass.so should be done by end of the day.where are you gettin mesh from ,went to halfords but they only only do one type and its crap.
