they're by no means fast at all, certainly not the slowest thing on the road, and I find driving one quite a laugh, bit of a challenge pulling out of junctions and overtaking

surely a x10xe would have shite economy on the motorway? You're forever revving the nuts off it and dropping gears to overtake etc. Mind you I cruised a good 50miles in my brothers and the needle barely moved, mine would have used stupid amounts

never get more than 270 out of the 1.4 mixed driving, not sure what my brother gets out of his 1.0 but it's probably a lot more.

I testdrove one for a lad on here once.. Me him and the garage owner... It wouldnt move! 1.2 16v is much faster and just as good on fuel 1.2 8v is a major no no aswell!

I had one as a first car therefor it got driven like it was stolen constantly and the engine never once let me down, would get about 70 miles to a tenner balls out everywhere.
