How come that white Astra couldn't get past a standard 120hp puma with a miss-fire?

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

It looks a really decent track too, loads of run off space if the worst happens.

I like the little sideways moment in the Puma, well controlled.

Dunno Ste the same reason I went past a blue Caterham with ease last year? Maybe you need to ask Warren why he couldn't get past either and I'd say Warrens a better driver than me, you're just a cock basically that needs to stop running his mouth for no reason.

to be fair that puma is fast, standard there known for being go-kart handling, with 125bhp and no interior the power to weight arnt prob that far off 2 over weight astra's running full recaro interiors

power doesnt win races, as lee keeps on telling me, but i just think its because i had the A/C on,

My 146bhp corsa beat a m3 last year....says alot

because your not allowed to race for position on these trackdays, like diving on the inside of them in corner for example.. the only way you can pass is by doing so on the straight.

so the car with the best line out of a corner will probably always stay ahead unless you have a silly quick car in a straight line.

Puma was running OK later in the day. Sticky ring in the morning but that looks to have cleared up by the time it got a few miles on.

To be fair to Oly, he was making me work very hard and as he correctly stated, I don't need to go to work on Monday in my car. That has got to count for something!! I also don't know to what extent I was holding him up on the straights because he obviously has the edge on power and wasn't exactly cornering slowly either.

Didn't end up changing it, just bought one because the one in it didn't appear to be holding a charge. Lasted the day though and I'll take the spare to Mallory.
