yeh its gd likes, got a different filter just now, mounted just behind the bumper below the headlight sounds gd and gets plenty of cold air

i didnt think you could make the length of the inlet longer but it seems you can.

yeh u can extend it pretty tight to get a filter in there have to take a screw out the plastic splashguard. want me to upload a pic ? yeh makes a difference likes

coz if its put down there then its away from the heat of ur engine, and is sookin in more cold air therefore more fuel = power

to actually get more power would take a considerable amount of colder air to register on the inlet temp sensor for the ecu to adjust to add more fuel. the fact the inlet runs behind the engine and under it at the back counter acts all the cold air your feed will give you.

yeh well its getting alot more cold air have a mushroom filter and where it is it barley takes in any warm air

yes but the plastic pipe runs behind the hot engine, between the block and also the firewall carpet shite. it will retain the heatsoak that it always did. it takes a lot to cool something down compared to warming it up in an engine bay.
as soon as you let your car idle, or stand still it will begin to retain heatsoak through your pipework. its just the way it is.
cold air feeds and such like really do not give the benefits the box they come in lead people to believe.

i am yet to ever experience adding an air filter and it actually making a difference other than making it worse.

well its got a four branch manifold, decat back system, mushroom filter extended to behind bumper, air con off of it and disconnected
