Power is 115bhp standard, although id guess its less than that. No engine mods bar an induction kit. Weight wise ive no idea either, although I really want to get it weighed.

My quickest was roughly 1.02-1.03. The lap record for the MR2 championship, for a 122bhp mk1 is 58 seconds. So im pretty pleased with that considering it was my first time out and the car needs setting up better.

Around 1minute is good! very respectable
When i did a whole day there in my 182 which had a fair bit done suspension/chassis wise i was running around 1 minute times. a 1995 clio cup car was running around a 58 i think

Looking at the Max5 championship results from Mallory, the lap record is 57.5 seconds although most of them lap on average around the 1 min mark. Bearing in mind it was my first time on the circuit, the suspension needs tweaking and I was with a passenger. Im very happy.

6 seconds is a rather large ammount don't you think though ? over a 1 minute circuit.

Not taking into account the things I said. The race cars will have no passenger, no passenger seat, no power steering, be set up correctly and the drivers will have had much more experience of the circuit - learning the lines etc. Im confident I could shave a good few seconds off my team, even just with a bit more time out there.

6 seconds between a championship record and someone's first time out isn't all that vast.

I thought the same tbh!
If we do it next year, I will hopefully get a sub 1min time, I think I was doing 1.04/05's in the second session, and theres loads which need doing, bushes, brakes, ARB's, remap, semi slicks
