when it says 3g, what do they mean? just it has 3g ability or does it come with some connectivity/provider etc
you sign up to a data package.
So thats extra £££ per month ontop of the cost, and its not even got calling capabilites.
I still don't get why everyone wants it to make calls, you'd look a complete tit with that stuck to your ear. Its not meant to be a phone, you wouldn't expect a netbook to make calls?
Bit pricey though, might still get one after a bit though.

to be honest a Mac Air is more suited to photography, similar size and weight, more storage, bigger resolution and you can run Photoshop/Lightroom etc

If you're carrying around a pile of photography kit then a Macbook Pro is hardly going to be much of an inconvenience.

Disappointed.
Are you moaning about £30?
Yeah, I am actually. I didn't want to pay more than £400 for one. I was hoping for more like £350/370ish. Any more than that and I think its too expensive.
Hope thats alright with you.

I think around the £300 mark they are good value and round the house we would often use. My girlfriend often uses her iPhone rather than starting her crap laptop.
If they were round £300 when we are in Canada next feb I would think about it but probably hold off due to a new one being due in a few months

Anyone who buys this for "personal use" is a complete tool.

I think if I get one it will be mainly used for when I don't want to get out of bed and go on my computer for a wank.

How will you prop it up on the bed, it doesn't even lend well to that because it won't stand up on it's own.

Same, Me and the Mrs sit at night on net on the iPhones between adverts etc whilst the laptops under the sofa.
I might get the Wi-Fi one ordered as ill mainly use it at Home, Parents or Mrs Parents house, which all have Wi-Fi. If i use it outide of these places it will be during travel, Train/Plane/Car Journeys etc and ill just make sure i have hundreds of apps/games and a few films etc on there before i leave.

Believe it or not, now I have one I have a different opinion, so much so, that misses also wants one.
Its already outsold the iPhone in the first month.....
What relevance does that have? The iPhone was the first of its kind. It took a wee bit to take off and look at it now. The iPad is building upon that success. And yes, the pricing is ridiculous. It's not as capable as a laptop, but costs more? W.T.F
