good isn't it. i can't believe it myself, my focus was ok putting the power down in the dry but in the wet it would just spin in the first 3 gears.

fancy suspension and 235 tyres must do the job well.

Have not they not just restricted it in the first few gears like the first RS? In which case of course it will be unlikely to spin if driven properly.

more than likely. they done this for the st so i assume the new rs is the same.

1st and 2nd gear don't produce full power or torque iirc to protect the gearbox, hence why a lot of people say 0-60's are worthless and it's motorways where the real fun happens.

totally different manufacturers. who's to say ford are wrong? sorry, they invest billions into their products, surely they know whats best?

considering it weighs over 1400kg's, if you add the 4x4 system it'd be over 1500kg's which is a lot in an already heavy hatchback.

they make them to sell ... not what performs best.. im sure they would sell more fwd than 4x4 .. hence makeing them fwd ... ie there expensive as they are .. if they were 4x4 they would be even more to buy

Not at all...ford had a 4x4 prototype and they decided FWD was better for the car,the way these cars handle and put the power down is mad,i cant say it enough how good they are

thy could've put the kuga haldex system in if they wanted to, so obviously it's not just for cost as they already have the system available to them.
