I did a mother of an IF the other day,
=IF(M5>0,"COMPLETE",IF(K5>0,"SEND CUSTOMER DETAILS",IF(I5>0,"PREPARE FOR UPLOAD",IF(G5>0,"INDIA PROCESSING",IF(E5>0,"FILE REC'D","AWAITING FILE")))))

currently got a formula showing the turn around period of an item (date in - date out)
but one of our delivery managers wants it so its blank on the spreadsheet until we put the dates in if that makes sense

You could do it by leaving the false value blank. then you will only get a value when the criteria is true?

Fro, I will never forget the time when you were trying to right out a massive formula involving Ifs, averages, an array etc, and it was about twice as long as that one you posted, and I gave you a lookup formula about a fifth of the length

In Excel, how do I make a cell +30?
Basically, It's an invoice template, and I have one cell as "Today" and I want a payment due date to be 30 days on. Just wondering how its done, save a little time

=DATE(YEAR(B16),MONTH(B16),DAY(B16)+30)
edit: B16 = your date field.
