yea easy make sure the plugs on the loom your getting are the same colour as the one you have now were it joins the ecu

yeahh should imagne it taking about half an hour to be honest if its just engine loom hope it works because i wana know whats gone now! :S lol good luck!

i wanted to smash it up. funny thing is though it ran fine for a couple of minutes then just started bogging down like a fucker again when you try to rev it up. gotta be loom related we tried everything else

Yup its the only thing left to do! The HT lead didnt help though

My gf had exactly the same problem mate. I changed the MAP sensor, idle control valve plugs and leads and it didnt fix it. In the end it was the MAP sensor wiring. It had a cut/break in it as it must have burnt or cut on the back of the inlet. Took it to a garage and they fixed this and tuned it. Now it runs sweet as fella no more spluttering or misfires.
