Can't stand Starbucks/Costa, always full of tree hugging student types sitting there with their Macbooks thinking they are better than everyone else.

A coffee from Costa costs £1.70 not £7. Plus it's fair trade.

I'll admit to having bought a hot chocolate in Costa a couple of times before. Can't stand coffee of any sort.
The local town is getting full of posh coffee shops and lame restaurants, it's quite annoying.

NOTHING to do with fair trade.. In fact it basically means they pay the same poor fuckers absoloutely sod all to plant some more fucking tree's so they can sell more overpriced coffee to yuppies.
There is no defending the "coffee culture", its capitalism and exploitation working at its finest!
Its the same silly fuckers who spend £2,00 on an iPhone and 'apps' who will go and buy £4 cups of shit coffee.

The whole thing is 'over' now, coffees shops aren't even trendy anymore. Watch them all close down pronto.
The most pathetic thing to come out of western civilisation in 20 years IMO

This is what's wrong with the world.
Unless you have a genuine problem with your eyes there is no excuse for wearing sunglasses inside.

I work with a couple of people who talk about coffee literally 3/4 times a day. It's always 'Ooh I haven't had a coffee yet, you know I can't operate with a costa' *posh laugh* FUCK OFF!!!

Ah, if only I could generate that much drama. Not a banned member but am a long time lurker. This is the first and only account I've had. Found the site after a bloke at work said to check out the post a facebook fitty thread and now I'm on here more than he is.

It's franchised. The one down the corridor from me is fair trade. I guess others might not be. It's a bit hypocritical getting up on your high horse about it though.

I'm sure it is....
The whole point of a franchise is they use the stock supplied so all the stock will be from the same source ..
