In the pics is doesnt look like the primer has taken to the plastic properly so dave might be right but there are ways to say it.

Very good points above on how to get rid of the scratches. A good paint job all depends on how good the prep work is, take your time and it will pay off.

if you jump from 80 to 350 you wont get the 80grit scratches out, you need to flat 80 with 180 and then to 320. then you can put loads of coats of high build on. i would suggest at least 4 or 5 coats.
then wet flat the primer with 800. shoul turn out like so ............

What a prick you really are.

Even if a professional body shop filled and smoothed an ABS bumper using the finest prep work and the best fillers it would eventually crack and fall out. Unless you plastic weld pieces in over the recess and use the most thin layer of filler it WILL fuck up.. And considering Jon doesnt even know how to opperate a piece of sand paper its an envitable failure (I can already see chunks of filler missing in those photos).

if you dont remove bumper you will have to mask entire car up as over spray gets every where. Good on you for having a go. You only learn by completely fuckin something up.

Was it that hard to give advice? Instead of typing " FAIL blah blah", you only know what to do because of either A) You done it and fucked it up before or B) Someone told you how to do it.

Why you can't pass you're knowledge on without being a total prick about it, i don't know?
