So whats this therapy do? red filter?

ah just re read your first post...

Interesting, let me know how you get on with it! I'd be a bit concerned about screwing up my good eye!

Basically you just get some red film and put it over your good eye for a short period every day and do something like watch tv.. Start off with 5 minutes then work your way up to 20+.

Its like patching but the risk of patching your eye as an adult is you can make your good eye slightly amblyopic, this way your good eye still sees detail but your amblyopic eye is forced to work to see the colours other than red.

That sounds wierd davey.

My condition a the minute is what i've had to deal with for like 19 years.If i shut my left eye my right eye works fine.if i shut my right my left works fine.if i open them both together with my specs off i sometimes see like double (well strange)

put my specs on and i see perfect

How long have you worn glasses for? You must have prism lenses, as thats one way of treating a lazy eye/squint or someone with crossed eyes. Are your specs like bottle bottoms? If you had the surgery to correct your eye muscle your vision would probably be almost perfect.

23 and a half years mate (had them from 5 months old)

Nah I have designer lenses now.I had corrective muscle surgery when i was like 5 so didn't know any different.I had a muscle off my strong eye changed to my weak eye
