Sold it needed something I could afford to put fuel in! Happy with the s2k it's a good car and much better to run! The spec 3 won't be to everyones taste but for the money I couldn't find a lighter exhaust than it

Ah thought it was you. How do the Teg and S2K compare pace wise? I'd imagine the S2K would run rings around the Teg in terms of handling?

why?

DC5 is a FWD with a LSD. Will be equally as good and easier to push to the limit safely.

I import all my parts - saves costs.

I've got some contacts in the US who mark the items up as valued $100 - avoids paying any tax etc.

I know what it is Paul, I've ordered one lol. I know it's probably one of the best handling cars in it's class but heard rave reviews about S2K's and after seeing videos of them they look absolutely immense.

Yeah but it takes a driver that is A ) able to and B ) willing to push their S2000 to the limit to drive like that. A DC5 driven by an average joe, will beat a s2000 driven by an average joe.

- This is why whenever I've seen s2000s on track they've always looked slow. The drivers are useless and unwilling to push the car (in fear of it spinning out / crashing).

Fair enough, I drive my s2000 properly on track, but I still could sit on the limit easier on track in a dc5.

As far as I know there are no track noise limits in japan so race spec in japan doesn't have a noise consideration!

Rob honestly I would say s2k is better but I seem to have an abnormally forgiving rear end on mine as inever get any loss ofgrip there. It's more direct and responsive than the dc5 ever was. However as Paul says for pick up and play fun the integers are fantastic

I import all my parts over night from Japan. And i get a great deal, because i avoid paying tax by offering them sandwiches and tune ups.

I dont see what all the fuss is all about. To me,they both sound like any Vtec Honda with a fancy exhaust.
The yellow 1 sounds like something is loose when its sitting revving??Like a metal to metal vibrating noise.

That's the springs mate it's "race spec yo!" so they saved weight by not having any flanges and bolts! The springs stop it coming apart...
It's JDM tight...
