Dodo Placenta by the looks of it. £15K for paint on any car is laughable

You had them in yet? Seems to look ok in white but all the press photos are of the Cloverleaf

Love them, was an option before the new car, but they hadn't come out yet.

Good power, stunning looks, great interior. Would love one!!

If its anything like Audi Exclusive paint then you can usually find the special paints on demo cars so wouldnt have to pay the premium for it if you buy an ex demo car.

"I heard that Alfa had the whole range at Goodwood in the 8c candy red (or whatever it is called) - Punters were told that the cars such as the Brera were not available in that colour but that they could buy the one on display for £15k over list price".

I done this too. was well angry at the salesbloke. "whats the f**king point in having 3 cars on show with stunning paintwork, but not offering it as an option"

Useless badgers.

I think the 8C paint on the Giuletta is about £3k or something.

Considering the mutli flip oil looking TVR paint was about £900 a litre, I think the price is simple madness!!!! But it is a stunning paintjob.

Thats not all that bad, esp when charging £15k for the same paint on the 8C

IMO its worth that extra price, huge difference to the car.

Me either. Much better hunting out a nearly new one with that paint already on it if thats what you want.

Think I'd rather have a white or grey one anyway.

People spend £2500 on slim back German manufacture seats alone, so its not that bad really.

Considering Vauxhalls sat nav system is £1500 too.

but every manufactureres Sat Nav is over 1500 lol

Depends what floats your boat but 1700 on a pint job only for someone to sratch it or get peppered with chips is poinltess

Just something I wouldnt agree parting my cash with - others would

We can't talk, Donna spent over that on her paintjob. I've known people to spend £5k+ just on aftermarket paint that'll never be as strong as standard paint

I suppose the point is with that same £1750 you could get bose stereo upgrade/leccy seats, bigger wheels & a different shade of metallic red paint. I think those extras would hold value better than a paintjob that could easily be ruined after a few years of daily driving

Mines like that

My mate has a pd130 Bora, he reckoned it was quicker than mine till we had a race

them VAGs feel alot faster than they are, his pulls from 1200 to like 2500, Mine pulls from 1850 all the way to 4850

I was going to make a comment along the same lines.

The arse on the Alfa is so Bravo like. I think I prefer the Bravo for the cleaner lines - and check out the red
