I thought they now called it Vehicle Excise Duty as it's not spent on roads any more.

Might start just not bothering to pay, between MOT, Tax & Insurance i'd save enough a year to risk it for the small mileage I do.

I'm sure somebody told me the other day their bentley was going to be just under £1k to tax, unless I read it on here.

Fuck that, that's now at a level I would actually turn down a car for costing too much on road tax. What a joke.

Hope you love this car!

Got no choice really, plus MOT is due this month, and the car is sat in a bodyshop which is more bills, most expensive fucking car I'll ever own

£975, that's the next bracket above mine.

It's for the Mazda yeah whoever asked. 231g/km and the lower limit is 225g/km. FRS is 224! It is annoying considering my Berlingo which I do about 500 miles a week in is £190 or something, and this I drive once maybe twice a week and do 50 miles is this much.

Nice. Quite a few of my clients have cars in that bracket. I really couldn't bring myself to pay that sort of money!

That comment about the Bentley, must be certain ones, as a client of mine has a 10 plate Continental Flying Spur Speed and that's £445.

Taking so bloody long. Parts took a while to get, headlight was £260, foglights were £130 each, rear light about £260, bumpers £300 each. Spent about £1600 on parts so far and yesterday I ordered a wing too as we couldn't shape it flush against the headlight and I'm a fussy fucker!

Stripped it down a couple of weeks after I got back from the Ring

Expensive pile of damaged parts

Sat like this for a couple of weeks

Now it's in

Got the wheels refurbed, well happy with them.

Shouldn't be long now, I hope
