They have 4 garages in this area but they're not a national chain like Kwikfit.

Bloody hell that's bad.

I'd have to get a White Tyre Pen and colour in the Michelin man in.

It doesn't look bad in those pics I dont think. Cant get a feel for how deep the marks are.

When I had my Corsa a different garage did a similar thing to wheels on that except they made much more of a mess than they have of these ones.

Not a clue Maybe just off where they've been rolling them round/laying them in the crap on the workshop floor?

I've had my tyres swapped over from one set of wheels to the other twice now in the space of 3 months and they haven't left a single mark, I could put you in contact with them? I went to school with the lad who owns the tyre place, got an Audi R8. You could converse about the advantages of owning an Audi.

How about it?

Not enough hours in the day for discussing the advantages of owning an Audi mate

The ATS Euromaster garage here has fitted 2 sets of tyres to this car and another set of tyres to my Corsa in the past without leaving a single mark. Wish I had spent the £20 per tyre extra and gone there now.

Speaking of Audi A3's have you ever had to disconnect your battery for any reason?

My mates got a 54 plate 2.0TDi that has a whole manner of issues with it, first the coolant temp sensor fucked up, now the EGR valve is goosed and it's throwing up EML lights and hes trading it in for a Seat Leon FR next week, I said to disconnect the battery leave it for an hour and see if it wipes the code long enough to get it up the Seat garage, but the only thing it's done is flash up even more lights.

Talk to me.

now i see why it's a disgrace. if i put a fucked flywheel on, i'd probably get suspended.

but these fucking retarded mongs who did fuck all at school scratch your alloys then deny it

Dont tag every one with the same brush! Sum tyre fitters do take alot of pride in there work just depends where u go tbh!

Nope, never had to.

Mines under warranty so don't really know much about them if they go wrong as not had to get my hands dirty like I used to do with the Corsa

This is my next worry! Got to be honest, I cant see how they are going to do as good a job as the factory finish if its a man in a van doing it. He's not going to strip it back to the metal and start from scratch, he'll probably just fill the scratch, rub the wheel down a bit and spray over the top

I'm pretty certain Audi wont tell you the exact colour code of the wheels either so I could end up with a different shade on the front wheels that are being refurbed to the back wheels that dont need refurbing. Its not a straight silver. Its like a super shiney silvery light grey finish.

Dont need this kind of shit, I just wanted new tyres.

i would get them to refurb the scratched wheels then carefully check the colour in direct sunlight to see if it matches the other alloys.

if not, get them to refurb those aswell?

my focus wheels were refurbished by a bloke in a van. he did a really good job and they came out in a brighter colour and shinier then when i first picked it up brand new.

This probably wouldn't have happened if you drove a Vauxhall, I think you can only blame yourself tbh.
