Speaking of stubble I keep thinking of getting something like those iTrims but most reviews I've read say that the 0.5mm setting isn't anything like as short as that. I only like a bit of 1 or 2 day type length stubble. Is there anything thats going to be good enough or am I better off just sticking to having a shave every 1-2 days like I currently do

0.5 barely takes anything off. If i go for that after 1 days growth it makes no difference Would have to be 2/3 days.

I have an itrim and the battery life is shit. I find im rushing shaving so that I can have a complete shave otherwise battery dies and I have half a beard left

Also battery doesnt slowly die, it just stops! if you're full flow and it suddenly stops unexpected you end up tearing a massive clump of hair out and then I get angry

Im sure it clearly states in the instructions to let your facial hair grow for 4 days before using it

Doesn't sound ideal I find it strange that it advertises a 0.5mm stubble setting yet it doesn't seem to live up to it from what you and others are saying.

Also how hard can it be to make it have a decent battery life like normal shavers have had for years? Guess this is why its so cheap as its shit by the sound of it.

Can you take the guard off and shave without it or does that leave you with no stubble at all like a normal shaver would

Same here. When we are old enough to be men Joe we will meet up and rub our stubble together.

FLOL I call it my "underbeard" i always have a bit of underbeard on the go. I like it because when im in deep thought i can scratch it so i look intellectual.

Seems we have the very same beards Joe. Maybe we should set up a help group or something?
