Considering you work in insurance I can't believe that it has passed you by that the private car market overall has been running at a loss for a considerable time and that is why rates are going up

corsa's gone from £404 to £633
Vectra's gone from £518 to £1300.
Cheapest for the vec is £853 admral insurance atm is stupid.

Going to check a few of these companies for myself.
My renewal came through - £810 on my corsa, not good. (Although i have only been driving less than 1 year)

My renewal wanted same for Golf as TT was 12 months ago!

Even after giving me £90 back in Feb for changing to the Golf!
