She is pretty in real life...although a bit too much make up for me
but that's the same for all 'pit' girls
she is friendly too

I do think it's a bit unfair that they had her posing on my car...what the feck's wrong with me
I must be a munter

I'm with AK on this. I'd smash her back doors in.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Got to love the sweeping generalisations, there are plenty of PR and grid girls out there who are intelligent and pretty without any makeup.

Part of the job is looking good in pics and that entails heavier slap on than most would consider normal because the vast majority of pics will make them look pale otherwise due to suboptimal lighting and generic digital cameras not being that great at rendering skin tones. At the SMC show the girls look far paler in my shots than the ones taken by the proper photographers.

Pics of pretty girls on or around cars generate more interest from Joe Bloggs. Lads want pics of them with pretty girls to plaster all over bebo/facebook/whatever. I saw two people getting pics next to my car all day at SMC, that's a fully liveried race car. Every other person wanted a pic of the cruise sites PR girls with them or on their car. So which would make more sense to pay to put your logo on?

My main criticism would be WTF is going on with her belly tan in the first pic?!

Also I'm sure you can't have retarded trolley dollies cutting about as it would give the event a less professional look.
Maybe magazine models yes but them...no.

All the girls I worked with at RedBull were uni students. From a PR point of view the worst possible thing you can do is set loose a dumbell behind your product or brand. They also need the right attitude, backstage at gigs one week, talking to fat truckers pickin their belly button fluff the next. Grid girls, pit girls etc are the same.

Grid girls also play a pretty important role (the good ones at least) in keeping the team motivated at events.

Personally i'd love to make it the BTCC and have my own Lycra clad goddess! Yeah fast cars and driving hard are an awesome combo, but hot women still make it better!
