Good job man

Quick cleaning question here...when you Foam a car does the water have to be warm?? Ie like when jet washing normaly but with the lance on?

Thanks mate. No it doesn't have to be. Its more effective if using a warm pressure washer, but just warm water in the foam lance is as good as useless as the cold water through the pressure washer cancels that out!

Check elite car care, clean your car and autobright direct for foam lances and various foams. I use an elite car care hd lance. They are expensive for what they are though yeh! Luckily because I use mine so often, its an expense I can absorb easily!

No that's just to connect to a nornal hose rather than a pressure washer - not great imo! I'm on my phone atm so difficult to link, I'll post it up tomorrow unless you find it before. Search by brand - elite car care and you should see their lance.

Superb work as always Rich.

I cant believe the state of the paintwork already on a year old car. Appreciate it has lots of track use but its clear the swirling was caused by heavy handed "sponge washing"

The car has had lots of track work, its where it spends most of its time, when it is cleaned its always done with a wash mitt, but then were washing huge ammounts of brake dust of it, which doesnt help with swirl marks.

youll have to excuse the poor pics, but this is it how it stands this morning with all the carbon on and cage refitted:

was going well on track, its back out again tomorrow at rockingham fingers crossed.

no, it still gets used for an everyday car and going on long trips to germany etc, so we wanted to keep the interior in, hence we made the cage so it fits round the rear seats etc without causing problems with access

Cheers for the updated pics Mark - didn't know it had a cage!

Carbon looks great - can still just about make out a shine on the paintwork too
